This biography book is about Alexander Graham Bell. Both his father and grandfather were speech teachers. Aleck’s Mother was deaf. This made Aleck interested in helping deaf people. After Aleck finished high school he was sent to London to live with his grandfather. Aleck used his fathers invention, Visible Speech, to teach deaf people to speak. Alexander Graham Bell worked on the telephone invention for many years. Many other inventors claimed the telephone was their invention but Aleck always won. Aleck had a deaf wife and two kids. He had many inventions but his greatest was the telephone. His biggest passion was to help the deaf and hard of hearing.
