Pinkalicious by Victoria Kann

Pinkalicious went to the library to look for a good pink book, which is her favorite color. She found a bright pink book with gold shiny letters called the Goofy Book of Gags and Giggles . She really liked the book, and thought it was funny. She decided to tell one of the jokes to her friend Molly. Molly thought it was too and laughed so hard. Others kids wanted to know why Molly was laughing and came over to the girls. Pinky read the group jokes from the book and they laughed too. One kid told Pinky she was so funny. There was one person that didn't think that Pinky was funny, and her name was Tiffany. Tiffany told them that "Anyone can be funny if they're reading from a book. I bet Pinky doesn't have a real funny bone in her body." Tiffany told Pinky to prove she was funny by making up her own joke, and not steal one from book. Later that evening she was having dinner with her family and told them what happened and school with the book and Tiffany. Her brother teased her and made a mean knock knock joke about her. She was sad and after dinner decided to go to bed. In the middle of the night she woke up with an idea and thought she would be ready for the next day. The next morning she got ready and went to school. She told got everyone attention and told them she came up with something that would make them laugh, and began to tickle all of them. This did make everyone laugh and proved she was funny. She was happy with herself and decided to return the book back to the library.
