Junie B Boss of Lunch by Barbara Park

One day Junie B was happy because it was her first day of 1st grade. She got in to class and sat at her seat. Then she bent down and opened her backpack and looked at her lunch box and someone yelled Junie B is in her backpack. She got in trouble. Then it was lunch time. She told one of the lunch ladies my dream is to be a cook and she said we do need a new lunch lady. I will sign up. Then she got hired. After the lunch ladies went to a party. Then she said in her first grade journal that is the end.
