I Love You, Mommy by Jillian Harker

Baby Bear wanted to show his Mommy all the things he could do by himself. He showed his Mommy that he could catch a fish and jumped on a rock. He began to slip when he jumped on the rock and fell in the water. His mom told him he did a good job, but she wanted him to watch how she swam before he tried fishing again. Mommy swam for a bit and then told Baby Bear to try it. Baby Bear began to swim around carefully with his Mommy. Baby Bear go excited again and wanted to show his Mom how he could climb a tree and pick fruit. She tried to stop him, but Baby Bear was already up the tree. He began to reach for some fruit and before his Mom could say anything else Baby Bear fell out of the tree. His Mom said Not Bad. She told him to watch how she climbed the tree correctly before he picked fruit again. He watched his Mom and then he tried it himself. They were both able to climb safely and eat fruit off of the tree together. They were walking in the field and saw other bears playing. Baby Bear ran off to play, but his mom stopped him. He stopped and listened this time. She told him to be gentle when he plays. They played for a bit together so he could show her how gentle he could play. He ran off to play with the other bears. Baby Bear was tired when he got home, but he still told his mom that he loved her as he fell asleep. She told him that she loved him too and kissed his head.
