This book was about Abraham Lincoln. He was from Indiana. He loved to read books. Abraham Lincoln lived when slaves were around. He wanted everyone to be treated equally. He lost four elections before getting elected president. He lived through the Civil War. His side wanted slavery to end but the other side did not want it to end. When he became president he passed a law that ended slavery in America. The Civil War ended. Abraham Lincoln never stopped fighting for what was right.
