Flip and Flop by Don Apperley

Flip and Flop were brothers that made up a game called Boomba. They liked to slide and play around in the snow together. The older brother Flip wanted to play Slip -slide with his friend Hip instead of this little brother Flop for a change. Flop was sad that his older brother didn't want to play with him so he walked away to be alone. He found a new play slope and played his favorite game Boomba alone. He tried it one time and fell. He started to cry and thought this game was no fun playing alone. He didn't know that someone was watching him play Boomba alone. A little white bear name Hop came sliding in and introduced himself to Flop. Flop asked him if he wanted to play Boomba and Hop said yes. They started to play Boomba in the snow and were having fun. They talked about how their older brothers didn't want to play with them, but were glad they met each other. It started to get later and they both had to get back to the play slope to meet their brothers. The older brothers were on the slope and were bored with playing slip slide and looked sad. The younger brothers came up to the older brothers and introduced each other. The decided to play together and create a new game called slip-slide-boomba.
