Put a solid object in a tub and it will over flow because the solid box takes space. If you mix a solid and a liquid it can convert to a gas. If you mix a teaspoon of baking soda with half a bottle of vinegar, then place a balloon over the tip of the bottle of vinegar you will see the balloon fill up with gas.
