Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Dog Days by Jeff Kinney

Will Greg's summer be like playing outside or playing video games inside? His mom has another version or the other. Greg goes to getting a new dog isn't how he wanted it. In summer, they create a lawn mowing business, goes to a summer camp, goes to restaurants and get a dog from his grandpa and fall in love with a girl. They go to a cabin with no electronics. Greg gets sick and he is send home. Then, they try to join a video game competition, but Greg injured his hand. Greg's mom think is the best family summer ever, but Greg doesn't.
