Diary of a Wimpy Kid by Jeff Kinney

It is his first year of the Middle school. There is a slice of cheese stuck on the ground of the basketball court. If you touch the cheese nobody would touch you or talk to you. Then, you have to touch someone else so the other kid can not be talked or touched. That way, you would be free ot the cheese touch. There were these high school kids that made Rowley, the wimpy kid best friend and they made him eat the cheese and touch it. Greg, the wimpy kid defends him getting the cheese touch. Greg was concerned about being famous in the middle school. However, Greg became famous not because he was athletic instead for being a good friend.
